Here are the steps or how to install Chromium Browser on Ubuntu Linux. I've tried to install Chrome browser in Ubuntu and was very simple, easy and fast compared to other browsers, Firefox though. Google Chrome and Chromium are not the same, Chrome was developed by Google Inc. Chromium remains the property while the Open Source community, but the difference between the two browsers is very little, even arguably very similar.
The following step install Chromium in Ubuntu:
1. Add the following repository url in the / apt / sources.list you. You can do this by executing the command / command following in Terminal:

     sudo apt-add-ppa repository: chromium-daily/beta

2. Then update your system with the command

     sudo apt-get update

3. Install Chromium with the command:

     sudo apt-get install chromium-chromium-browser-ffmpeg codecs
